Travels to Central America and from the Port of Galveston, TX!

I went with my sisters, mom, and dad on a cruise out of Galveston, TX. We did a 7 day cruise line for Carnival cruises. It is the cheaper option of cruises and best for kids. They had your average food buffet, waterslides, a run bike ride in the air around the deck (a sort of sky ride), walking track and sports courts, movies on the deck including Top Gun Maverick, a tiki bar on deck for adults, hot tub that the kids took over, adult only deck that was always full, IMax theater that was showing John Wick 4, Comedy shows in the evening, movie trivia during the day, jewelry info sessions where you could get a free bracelet and charms on the location stops, weight room, massage parlor and spa with discounts, casino, etc.
There is about 400-500 people. We loved our rooms, us 'kids' were on the inside in a cheaper room with bunk beds and my parents had a king in an outside room with a balcony where they saw dolphins. Our main problem was that it was so windy, it was hard to sit on the top decks to layout, the food could be better, there could be less kids because we could not actually use the pools which weren't very nice anyways, and it was too windy to dock to go to Roatan, which ruined everyone's experience. I would recommend for the cheaper experience and we went more so for the excursions, but hope that you don't hit bad weather!
