Seafaring Novel

This novel is of a "Romantic Fantasy" genre. It is a story of a ship captain and his young daughter traveling the seas transporting tea years ago. A storm was approaching and no one on the boat survived but her, but how? During the storm, she could hear singing in the water, and it calmed her. Then she hit the water and remembers nothing after that but waking up ashore with a scar left on her ankle. Something misterious was lurking under the water and she was left with pain and curiosity. This novel shares her story on land and her potential future in the water and as she gets older, she is discovered by another lost sailor, who becomes devoted to her when she saves his life.
